Jazmina Santibáñez Farías

Lawyer graduated from the University of Chile. She holds a Diploma on Regulation and Public Law from the University of Chile. In 2007 Ms. Santibáñez attended a six-month exchange program at the University of Puerto Rico.

In 2015 she attended the Workshop on Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolutions at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and in 2010 she attended the Summer Course about International System and Commercial Policy at the Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile.

Ms. Santibáñez is the contact point with the CAM Santiago’s Young Arbitrators’ Executive Committee.

In 2017 she was an intern at the International Chamber of Commerce’s Spain Commission (ICC Spain). Prior to joining the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Centre, she served as Legal Assistant at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Chile and as a Teaching Assistant of Private International Law at the University of Chile School of Law.

Since 2017 she has been a member of the Young Lawyers Commission of the Chilean Bar Association.

Member of the Editing Team of the book CAM Santiago Arbitral Awards VI and VII and coauthor of the articles « Arbitration and Corruption: some practical ideas» published at the ICC Mexico Arbitration Newsletter (2017) and «Seizure of an airplane to execute an arbitral award. Africa, competence, state immunities» in the Association for the Promotion of Arbitration (2017).

In addition to her functions within the Arbitration Unit, Jazmina is the communicational link with the Executive Committee of the AJ CAM Santiago.
