Lawyer graduated from the University of Chile. She also holds a Diploma in Negotiation with a double mention in Mediation and Advanced Strategy and Leadership by the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

In January 2020, she attended to the Insights: ADR in the US and LATAM program at Boston College Law School and in 2015 she attended to the Workshop on Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Laura supports the Co-Secretary General of the ICC Chile’s Arbitration and ADR Commission.

Member of the Editing Team and of the Editorial Council of the book Arbitration in the Case Law of the Chilean Superior Domestic Courts between 2002 and 2020.

Member of the Editing Team of the book CAM Santiago Arbitral Awards VI and VII and author of the chapter Brief Notes on the Interim Measures in International Commercial Arbitration published in the book Studies of Chilean and Comparative Private International Law (2014).

Prior to joining the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center she was as a Teaching Assistant in Private International Law and International Contracting at the University of Chile School of Law.

In November 2018 Laura participated as a speaker in the APEC Workshop for Developing a Collaborative Framework for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) in Osaka and in March 2019 she was a speaker in the Stocktake Workshop on the SELI ODR Work Plan at APEC Chile.

She is also a member of the Chilean Association for Private International Law (ADIPRI).

Fluent in Spanish, English and Italian.
