Overview

The Certificate in International Commercial Arbitration is jointly organized by the Italian university Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli and the Chilean university Universidad de Los Andes.

The purpose of the certificate is to analyze theoretical elements and practical conflicts of international commercial arbitration, including aspects related to the selection of the arbitral tribunal and the applicable law as a means to prepare the entry to arbitration, the gathering and submission of evidence, analyzing the relevance, timeliness and importance of each means of evidence in the context of an arbitration, as well as aspects of interest related to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, among others.

The program is led by both Chilean and Italian leading academics and practitioners and is aimed at providing theoretical and practical insights, including interactive workshops, about international commercial arbitration.

The program will be held online, and the classes and workshops will be delivered via live streaming. At the end of the program all the participants will be given a certificate of attendance.
